At Learn. Create. Build. Academy, we always try to put ourselves in the shoes of our customers. We know that life can get in the way and force you to not be able to attend a camp. Frankly, while we love our camps and online courses, we know that things come up sometimes that are just more important. With that in mind, we have crafted what we feel is a fair cancellation and refund policy for both our customers and Learn Create Build Academy. Cancellation Policy - Physical Camps
If for any reason Learn. Create. Build. Academy is forced to cancel a camp due to weather, attendance, campus issues, etc., we will offer all customers the option to either transfer their registration to a future camp or receive a 100% refund of their registration cost. Transfers to future camps aren't specific to a certain camp or location; a child may transfer to any other camp in any of our locations.
Refund Policy - Physical Camps
Like we said above, we understand that life has a tendency to get in the way. To keep things simple, we have outlined our refund policy below. Please note that regardless of the issue (sickness, death in the family, time conflict), we will stick to the refund policy described below. We're a tech camp company and don't want the difficult task of making refund decisions on a case-by-case basis. We'll leave all those hard decisions to the lawyers.
All refund requests MUST be made directly through email to either a Learn Create Build. Academy employee or via firstname.lastname@example.org. The refund time will be established the moment when the email is received. Refunds are issued directly back onto the card that initially purchased the registration. Please allow 5 business days for refunds to reach the account.
Time Considerations Requests made 8 days or greater prior to the start of camp
Process Customers will have the option to receive a 100% refund of their registration cost back to the credit card used to purchase OR may request to transfer the registration to a future camp.
Full Camp Transfer
Time Considerations Requests made within 7 days or less prior to the arrival time of the start of camp
Process Customer will be able to transfer the registration to a future camp. If future camp is less expensive, no refund will be issued. But, if the difference is greater, additional fees will be due before the transfer will be complete.
Time Considerations Requests made within 24 hours after the start of camp
Process Customers will receive a 20% off coupon for a future camp. No registration refund for the missed camp will be issued.
Time Considerations Requests made more than 24 hours after the start of the camp
Process Customers will NOT be eligible for any refunds or discounts.
Inclement Weather Policy - Physical Camps
Safety is always our top priority, and during the Winter months, the weather can sometimes become a concern. During the times of hazardous travel and road conditions, we make some minor changes to our refund and transfer policy. Within 24 hours of the camp, if you believe it will be unsafe for you to travel to the camp, you will qualify for a full camp transfer. If there is no alternative camp date available, we will provide you with a full camp refund. In order to qualify for the transfer or refund, you will need to contact us via email or phone to let us know you will not be attending the camp due to the weather conditions.
Weather Cancellation Policy - Physical Camps
Learn.Create.Build Academy will attempt to run every physical camp unless the college/campus location closes or our teachers are unable to safely get to the camp location. During the times where this is a possibility, we will communicate with all camp attendees through email to keep you updated on the conditions. If a camp must be canceled, the date will be rescheduled and all students will be transferred to this new date. If this date does not work for your child, then you will qualify for a full camp transfer to another date or a refund if no alternative date is available.
Refund Policy - LCB Live
Depending if you have a monthly or yearly plan the refund policy varies slightly.
If you cancel your monthly membership prior to your monthly renewal date (this date was determined on the day you initially signed up for LCB Live) you will be able to continue to have full access to LCB Live until your renewal date. At your renewal date, your account will no longer have access to the LCB Live account benefits. You will not be billed for further months.
For our monthly memberships, there is no refund policy. For example, if you choose to cancel your LCB Live account on or after your monthly renewal you WILL NOT be issued a refund, this includes a prorated refund.
Yearly plans have a 7-day no questions asked return policy. The 7-day period begins on the date in which the yearly plan was purchased/renewed. After the 7-day period, no refund will be issued, this also includes prorated refunds.
